Social Media Post

White Oak ISD was made aware this afternoon of social media posts that were believed to be threats to White Oak schools. We immediately involved White Oak PD and began an investigation. These post went beyond White Oak and East Texas. Messages from social media platforms were involved along with multiple students and families. It was discovered that no threat was ever made against White Oak schools. These post stemmed from incidents that happened in surrounding districts today. Again, at no time were any threats made towards our schools. We would like to thank White Oak PD and everyone who provided information on this matter. We take every threat serious and will continue to take any measure to keep our students and staff safe!! GO ROUGHNECKS!
