Dear Intermediate Parent/Guardian:
We are looking forward to having our Roughnecks back on campus for the 2022-2023 school year. Here are some final “need to know” items before we start the school year tomorrow.
-Intermediate staff and teachers are on duty in the mornings and do not stage students in classrooms when they arrive. For that reason, parents and guardians of Intermediate students are not allowed to walk students to classrooms. You may walk them to the campus entrance door tomorrow and Friday.
-Parents/guardians of Primary students will be allowed to walk students to classrooms tomorrow and Friday only.
-If you are walking students to the building, please park in the lot across the street from the elementary campus adjacent to the tennis courts.
-Please note that the parking lot in front of the elementary campus is used to stage vehicles for drop off and pick up. Please do not park in this parking lot for school business that requires you to exit your vehicle during drop off (7 AM- 8 AM) and pick up (2:15 PM-3:15 PM) times.
-Please make sure to send your child to school with a refillable water bottle every day.

White Oak Intermediate will host “Meet the Teacher” Tuesday afternoon, August 9th, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. During that time, parents are invited to the student’s classroom to meet their teacher. If you have already purchased your school supplies, please bring them at that time. Classroom fees will also be collected. The school supply lists for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades are posted on the right sidebar of the blog.
REMINDER: If you wait until the first day of school to bring your supplies, we will have carts ready in the gym. Parents of intermediate students are not allowed to walk students upstairs to the classroom. All intermediate students will go to the gym every morning where teachers will be on duty.
This year students will need to bring a refillable water bottle to school each day. We have filling stations in hallway locations. If you haven't already ordered, you may want to consider purchasing a School Water Bottle that will be personalized with your child's name.
